So, you love the idea of our Tiki Boats and you are thinking how to get involved. Perhaps the word Franchising comes to mind. Although a great concept, we want to 100% guarantee your success by being a partner with a vested interest.
"IF" we were to franchise this is what it would look like for one boat
Before you even get started you are looking at a 120K - 150K investment with ongoing royalty fees on gross revenue and renewal fees every 10 Years (15-20K). We don't want that. Our Fleet Admiral has extensive experience of being on both sides of the fence. From selling franchises to being one himself with 10 locations in Canada, his experience is vast. Our goal is to save you $ and help you make even more.
You may decide to partner with someone to split the cost of getting started. Great! We understand that starting your own business is a bumpy road sometimes and it is always great to mitigate risk. But what if that partner not only had the experience but had a vested interest in your success. That is our offer to you. Rather than putting money into our pockets (the franchise fee $ boat profit), we want to invest in you. Qualified candidates will be able to start their own business with an investment a s low as $90K. Connect with us and we can discuss all that is needed to get started.
Last bit not least, we crate an InterTiki Affiliate program where you can generate revenues from other Lisenced Partnerships that we have established. Imagine generating 15% on a massive Tiki fleet around the world.
Rather than charging an expensive franchise fee of $35,000 we are investing in you. You become 60% owner and we give you all the tools for your success.
Thinking about starting with two Boats? Way to go! We like that and you will operate as a 70% owner of the business operations.
Bigger is better right? Well if your selected area supports it and you decide on three boats you will be an 80% owner of the operations.
Having spent literally thousands of hours addressing everything from booking and customer service to boat maintenance, brand management and staffing best practices, we’ve mastered the process and offer resources that make running your tiki business simple and effective.
If you are going to be the captain of the vessel, in Canada you will will require a Small Vessels Operator License and in the United States an a minimum of a “6-Pack” US Coast Guard License. Please research your local jurisdiction.
There is none. We are not a franchise, rather we are seeking to be in partnership with qualified candidates.
There are no additional royalties to be paid.
There are several factors that make up a successful operation. There are also local jurisdictional regulations that may govern the operation of our partnership. The following topics are some you should take into consideration:
This is part of your research. We can have the Tiki Boat shipped ready to go, or we can have it in several pieces for easier transportation to your location(s). All fees associated with shipping, customs and duty are your responsibility.
There are currently several insurance companies that are insuring operations like ours. We will work with you to get the best possible rate.
Think of it like Dodge and Chrysler.
We also own Palapa.Tours (the .tours is the domain name).
Depending on your location you will have the choice to operate under Tiki Tours or Palapa Tours. For now it's the same business. Your agreement will protect you from any competitiveness. However there are some ares already operating with a Tiki name and we do not want to cause confusion or limit expansion possibilities. Whether you operate with Tiki or Kiwi (the pineapple) you success is our top priority!
